King Magor solidified his reign by defeating the Dwarves and driving them from their homeland. Lineage matters in ascending to leadership – Attila and Bleda are grand-nephews of the dead King Magor. Not much is said about the role of females in Hun society, but there are no female Hun warriors or Shamans mentioned and Krekka does describe herself as coming from the lowest of the low.
